Travel through Route 111-113, visit Fallarbor Town, stop Team Magma at Meteor Falls and Mt. Chimney.
From Mauville City, head north to Route 111. Smash the rocks with HM06 to open the path. You will soon hit a desert sandstorm which is impassable without Go-Goggles. Take the detour west to Route 112.
On Route 111, you will encounter the Winstrate Family house. Talk to Victor outside to start a consecutive 4-battle gauntlet. If you defeat them all without healing, speak to Victoria inside to get the **Macho Brace** (doubles EV gains in battle!).
Since the desert is blocked, take the path through the volcano tunnel: **Fiery Path**. It connects the southern and northern halves of Route 111/112.

Once you exit the northern end of Fiery Path, head west onto Route 113. This route is covered in falling volcanic ash.

From Fallarbor Town, head south to Route 114. You will reach the entrance of **Meteor Falls**.
Inside the cave, walk across the bridge. You will find Professor Cozmo cornered by Team Magma. Commander Tabitha will take the Meteorite. Suddenly, Archie and Team Aqua show up, causing Team Magma to flee towards Mt. Chimney. Talk to Cozmo, then exit the cave.

Head back to the Cable Car station on Route 112. The Team Magma grunts who were blocking it have left. Board the cable car to reach the summit of **Mt. Chimney**.
At the top, you will witness a massive battle between Team Aqua and Team Magma. Archie is fighting off multiple grunts. Head north, defeating the Magma Grunts along the path.
Tabitha blocks the path to the leader. Defeat him to clear the way.

After defeating Maxie, the team will retreat and leave the volcanic machine behind. Examine the machine to collect the **Meteorite** (you can trade this to Prof. Cozmo in Fallarbor Town for **TM27 Return**).
Once you are done at the peak, head south to enter the **Jagged Pass** which leads down into Lavaridge Town where your 4th Gym Challenge awaits!
