1. Crumbling Farum Azula
You are teleported here after committing the cardinal sin at the Forge of the Giants. This is a massive, confusing dungeon suspended in the sky.
- Follow the curved paths and floating debris downwards. The beastmen enemies here hit very hard and often jump at you; keep your shield up.
- Miner's Bell Bearing [4]: Dropped by the Godskin Duo boss here. Allows you to buy Smithing Stones [7] and [8], meaning you can upgrade any standard weapon to +24.
2. Mini-Boss: Godskin Duo
A notorious fight where you must battle the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble simultaneously.
- The Ultimate Cheese: Use Sleep Pots. Both bosses are highly susceptible to sleep. Throw one pot at the fat Noble, let him sleep in the corner, and fight the skinny Apostle 1v1.
- Cover: Use the pillars in the room to block their black flame fireballs and the Noble's rolling attack.
- The shared health bar means even if you kill one, they will eventually summon another until the total boss health bar is depleted.
3. Boss Strategy: Maliketh, the Black Blade
Defeating Maliketh unleashes Destined Death and transforms the capital, cutting off access to many items there.
- Blasphemous Claw: If you defeated Recusant Bernahl when he invaded you earlier in Farum Azula, you get this tool. It allows you to parry Maliketh's glowing yellow attacks.
- Phase 1 (Beast Clergyman): Fast and relentless. Stay close to him to avoid his rock throws, and dodge into his quick dagger swipes.
- Phase 2 (Maliketh): His attacks now reduce your maximum health and cause a lingering damage-over-time effect. Do not block; you must dodge. Roll *forward* into his sweeping attacks to get underneath him, which is the only safe spot to deal damage.
4. The Ashen Capital & Final Bosses
After Maliketh, you return to Leyndell, which is now buried in ash. It's a straight boss rush to the throne.
- Sir Gideon Ofnir: The first hurdle. Be aggressive and interrupt his spellcasting. If you let him finish his monologues, he casts devastating magic.
- Godfrey / Hoarah Loux: Phase 1 focuses on massive AoE stomps; jump over them. Phase 2 (Hoarah Loux) focuses on wrestling grabs. Dodge sideways right as he lunges, not before.
- Radagon & Elden Beast: The final back-to-back fight. Equip the Haligdrake Talisman +2 for massive holy damage negation. Use weapons with Fire damage against Radagon, and physical damage (like Pest Threads incantation) against the Elden Beast. Scarlet Rot does not work on either.
