Features and changes we desperately need in 2027
Introduction
As Valorant continues to evolve, the community constantly dreams up new features that would improve the game's competitive integrity and overall player experience. Looking ahead to 2027, we've compiled a wishlist of the top two features we'd love to see implemented by Riot Games.

The 2027 Wishlist
1. Advanced Audio Separation
Audio is half the game in a tactical shooter like Valorant. We need a toggle and separate volume sliders for different audio cues.
- Footstep Sounds vs. Gun Sounds: Allow players to adjust the volume of footsteps independently from the volume of gunfire.
- The Problem: Currently, if you want to hear distant footsteps clearly, you have to turn your overall volume up, which makes close-range gunshots deafeningly loud.
- The Solution: Dedicated sliders so increasing the volume of footsteps does not increase the ear-piercing sound of a Vandal right next to you.
2. Battle Pass Rewards Overhaul
The Battle Pass system needs an update to bring it in line with other modern competitive games.
- Valorant Points (VP) in the Pass: The premium Battle Pass should give players back a portion (or all) of the Valorant Points they spent, encouraging consistent play.
- Radianite Points (RP): The Battle Pass should continue to give generous amounts of Radianite Points to help players upgrade their premium skins without feeling gated.
- The Impact: This change would massively boost player retention and satisfaction, making the Battle Pass feel like a true investment rather than a sunk cost.
Conclusion
While Valorant is already an incredible game, adding these quality-of-life features in 2027 would push it to the next level. Improved audio customization protects our hearing while maintaining competitive edge, and a more rewarding Battle Pass respects our time and investment.
