Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Review

86 / 100 (Cult Classic)

Voiced by 80s action legend Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens) and backed by an electrifying dark synthwave score by Power Glove, Blood Dragon strips away the serious tone of the mainline games for pure tongue-in-cheek joy. Armed with laser bows, four-barreled shotguns, and cybernetic hearts you can toss to lure giant laser-firing dragons into enemy garrisons, it remains one of the greatest standalone expansions ever created.

The Good: Flawless 80s aesthetic, synthwave soundtrack by Power Glove, hilarious dialogue.
The Bad: Relatively short campaign length (4-6 hours), dark neon filter can strain eyes over long sessions.
