Collapse is the sixth campaign mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Located in Avalon, this high-stakes level requires the team to sabotage the Guild's primary research tower core. The sabotage triggers a massive structural collapse, forcing the squad to sprint through crumbling platforms to escape before a timer runs out.
Mission Info & Collectibles
- Completion Reward: Unlocks the "Wing Clipper" Weapon Charm.
- Collectible Intel: 1 piece ("Security Evac Log") found on a bench in the lobby during the opening segment before the sabotage sequence starts.
- Top Item to Pick: The heavy tactical armor vest found near the starting zone, offering +50% bullet resistance for the rest of the mission.
Phase 1: Infiltration
Your team enters the lobby of the research tower. The objective is to fight your way up to the server core room.
- Reach the Core: Fight through waves of defending soldiers in the lobby. Use the escalators and side rooms to find cover.
- Breach the Security Room: Clear the security control room to open the path to the elevator.
Phase 2: Sabotage & Alarm
Interact with the main server panels to force an overload, which sets off alarms and begins the destruction sequence.
Step-by-Step Objectives:
- Core Sabotage: Place charges on the cooling lines of the computer core.
- Alarm Sequence: Once the core overloads, a 3-minute timer starts. The tower begins to shake, and chunks of concrete fall from the roof.
- Proceed to the next area: Follow the objective marker and eliminate any remaining hostiles to trigger the final phase sequence.
Phase 3: Escape the Crumbling Tower
Run downward through the collapsing corridors, leaping across structural gaps.
- Sprint and Jump: Don't stop to fight every enemy. Use your sprint and jump to clear gaps.
- Avoid Falling Debris: Red warning areas on the ground indicate where concrete slabs will fall. Stay away from these zones.
Tips and Tricks
- Beat the Timer: Ignore non-threatening enemies on your way down. Focus on traversal. Every second is crucial.
- Slide: Use slides (Crouch while sprinting) to get under collapsing door frames and structural pipes quickly.
