Walkthrough
Breakpoint is the tenth and penultimate campaign mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. With the bio-sample data in hand, Specter One must stop the Guild from broadcasting an activation signal to their chemical containers globally. You are sent to disable their primary satellite uplink facility on the coast of Avalon.
Mission Info & Collectibles
- Location: Comms Array, Avalon
- Collectible Intel: 1 piece ("Failsafe Instructions") found next to the keyboard on the server console in Dish Control Room 2.
- Top Item to Pick: The heavy tactical armor vest found near the starting zone, offering +50% bullet resistance for the rest of the mission.
Phase 1: Scaling the Antenna Towers
You begin at the base of the scaffolding. Climb up while avoiding enemy snipers situated on neighboring towers.
- Counter-Snipe: Pick up the SV-98 sniper rifle from the weapon box at the starting platform. Snipe the enemy lookouts before climbing the ladders.
- Watch the Pipes: Steam venting from broken valves can damage you. Shoot the safety wheels nearby to close off the venting pipes.
Phase 2: Hacking the Dish Nodes
You must place hacking spikes on the console interfaces of the three satellite dishes.
Step-by-Step Objectives:
- Sabotage the Nodes: Navigate the catwalks connecting the three dish structures. Interact with the terminal on each dish and defend it for 30 seconds while the spike programs execute.
- Proceed to the next area: Follow the objective marker and eliminate any remaining hostiles to trigger the final phase sequence.
Phase 3: Uplink Room Defense
After sabotaging the dishes, hold the central control room against incoming helicopters and drop-troops.
- Set Defenses: Lay down claymores and trophy systems near the doors. Shoot out the windows to get clear firing angles on the arriving helicopters.
- Destroy the Choppers: Use the FIM-92 Stinger launcher found on the back wall to lock onto and shoot down the attack helicopters.
Tips and Tricks
- Uplink Defense: In co-op, assign one player to deploy trophy systems on the central table to neutralize incoming enemy grenade launchers.
- Catwalk Cover: Catawalks have metal plates that block bullets. Crouch behind them when moving between towers.
