General Tips & Tricks
You will be fighting in extremely confined spaces. Adjust your playstyle accordingly.
- Weapon Choice: Swap your long-range rifles for a good SMG or shotgun as soon as possible. The engagements in the underground facility rarely exceed 15 meters, making high fire-rate weapons the most effective choice.
- Check Corners: Enemies will frequently attempt to ambush you from side rooms, maintenance closets, and blind corners. Never sprint blindly into a new hallway; slice the pie and check your angles.
- Flashbangs: Use flashbangs before breaching large rooms to disorient clustered enemies. If you run out, look for tactical resupply crates scattered throughout the maintenance tunnels.
Coin Location
There is one hidden coin in this mission that will grant you extra currency for your Safe House upgrades.
- Coin: In the first major breach room (the server farm). After clearing the enemies, instead of proceeding through the main double doors, check the small glass-walled supervisor office on the left side of the room. The coin is on the floor next to the tipped-over filing cabinet.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 1 - The Infiltration & Silent Navigation
Infiltrate the facility through the maintenance access point. This initial section must remain quiet to avoid massive reinforcements later.
- The Drop: Drop down the elevator shaft and pry open the vent to access the lower levels.
- Silent Navigation: Navigate the lower levels, eliminating patrols silently where possible. Use takedowns on the lone guards inspecting the pipes.
- Rare Drop: Taking down the guard inspecting the central pressure valve often drops an Extended Mag Blueprint for the Marine SP.
- Mission Progress Prerequisite: If you are spotted and the alarm triggers early, heavy reinforcements will permanently spawn in the next area. Maintain stealth to bypass the checkpoint lock.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 2 - The Lab Breach
Breach the main lab area. This will be a loud, intense firefight regardless of your previous stealth.
- The Breach: Push through the lab doors. Enemies will use tear gas, so keep moving to avoid the lingering clouds.
- Secure Console: Fight your way to the central console. Stay behind the thick server banks for cover.
- Hidden Safe (MISSABLE): Before extracting the data at the central console, look for the reinforced supervisor booth at the back of the lab. Inside is a hidden safe with $1,000 cash. If you extract the data first, the room locks down!
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 3 - The Escape
Extract the required data and fight your way to the surface in the dark.
- Data Extraction: Extract the required data from the console. The lights will immediately cut out.
- Fighting in the Dark: You must use your weapon's flashlight or night vision. Expect enemies to hide in the shadows as you ascend the stairwell.
- Unlockable: Completing the ascent without using night vision goggles unlocks the "Night Terror" Player Title.
- Extraction Point: Sprint to the surface extraction point before the facility seals completely.
