General Tips & Tricks
Adapt your tactics to deal with armored threats and use the environment to your advantage.
- Headshots on Armor: Heavily armored enemies take significantly less damage to the body. Aim for the head to break their helmets, or use high-caliber weapons like LMGs or sniper rifles to shred their plating faster.
- Sniper Overwatch: Use the initial high ground to tag enemies with your binoculars before descending into the valley. Knowing the patrol routes of the three heavy gunners will save you from being ambushed.
- Flanking Routes: The main road is heavily guarded by a mounted turret. Look for the muddy path on the left side of the valley to flank the first outpost and take out the turret gunner from behind.
Coin Location
There is one hidden coin in this mission that will grant you extra currency for your Safe House upgrades.
- Coin: Located in the sniper's nest at the very start of the level. Before you hook up to the rappel line to descend into the valley, turn around and check the small wooden observation deck behind you. The coin is sitting on an overturned ammo crate.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 1 - Overwatch and Infiltration
The mission begins on a high cliffside overlooking a heavily guarded valley. A silent infiltration is essential for success.
- Tagging Targets: Start by using your binoculars to tag all visible targets from the cliffside, especially the three heavy gunners. Knowing their routes will save you from being ambushed.
- The Descent: Rappel down and immediately move into the tall grass to your right. Do not sprint.
- Silent Kills: Eliminate the two patrols silently using the sniper rifle, ensuring their bodies drop out of sight of the main road.
- Mission Progress Prerequisite: You cannot trigger the valley checkpoint encounter until both cliff-side patrols are eliminated without alerting the main base.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 2 - The Valley Checkpoint
You must navigate past the heavily fortified valley checkpoint. A frontal assault is suicide on higher difficulties.
- Flanking Route: Navigate the valley by taking the muddy path on the left side. This allows you to bypass the main checkpoint entirely if you want to remain in full stealth.
- Sabotage (Optional): If you choose to engage, approach the mounted turret from behind using the muddy path and plant C4. Detonating it will draw the heavy gunners out of position.
- Rare Drop: The Heavy Gunner commander at the checkpoint has a chance to drop the "Juggernaut" Armor Plate Carrier upgrade. Loot him quickly before moving on.
- Hidden Safe (MISSABLE): Before proceeding to the manor, check the small logistics tent on the right side of the valley checkpoint. Inside is a hidden safe containing $1,000 cash and experimental ammo. If you cross the bridge to the manor, you cannot turn back!
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 3 - Manor Breach & The Ambush
The stealth portion is over. Securing the target inside the manor requires aggressive, close-quarters combat.
- The Breach: Blow the front doors of the manor house. This section forces you into a loud engagement. Use the pillars in the main foyer for cover.
- Room Clearing: Push upstairs and clear room-by-room with a shotgun or SMG until you locate the target behind the reinforced door.
- Surviving the Ambush: After securing the target, enemy reinforcements will flood the manor. Survive the ambush by holding the chokepoint at the top of the stairs. Use incendiary grenades to block off the stairwell.
- Unlockable: Surviving the ambush without using any armor plates unlocks the "Untouchable" Player Title.
- Extraction: Once the extraction sequence triggers, pop smoke grenades in the foyer and sprint to the exfil point in the back garden.
