General Tips & Tricks
You must juggle two very different playstyles rapidly to succeed in this mission.
- Sniper Priorities: When controlling the overwatch character, you must protect the assault team. Always prioritize enemy RPG units on the rooftops and enemy snipers in the windows before taking out the regular infantry in the streets.
- Use Cover Wisely: During the assault phase on the ground, the enemy has the height advantage. Move from cover to cover and do not advance until your sniper partner calls out that the rooftops are clear.
- Communication Cues: Listen closely to your teammates' radio chatter. The game uses audio cues to warn you when flanking enemies are approaching your blind spots, especially when you are looking through the sniper scope.
Coin Location
There is one hidden coin in this mission that will grant you extra currency for your Safe House upgrades.
- Coin: During the ground assault phase, just before you reach the market square. Look for a ruined cafe on the left side of the street with a collapsed awning. Head inside behind the counter to find the coin sitting next to the broken espresso machine.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 1 - Establishing Overwatch & The Street Push

- Sniper Clear: Play as the sniper and clear the initial roadblock. Focus on the machine gun nests in the second-floor windows.
- The Street Push: Switch to the assault team. Push through the market square using smoke grenades. Stagger shielded enemies with explosives.
- Mission Progress Prerequisite: The assault team cannot advance past the market square until the sniper team clears the RPG units on the rooftops.
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 2 - Defending the Nest
The sniper's building is now under attack. You must hold out until relieved.
- Close-Quarters Sniper: Put away the sniper rifle, pull out your secondary SMG, and defend the stairwell from pushing infantry.
- Rare Drop: The first heavy breacher on the stairs drops a unique Dragon's Breath Shotgun Blueprint.
- Hidden Safe (MISSABLE): Before the assault team breaches the stairwell to relieve you, check the sniper's bathroom on the top floor. The safe holds $1,000 cash. Once the squads reunite, this building locks down!
Detailed Walkthrough: Phase 3 - Reunion and Exfil
With the squads reunited, clear the final military blockade.
- Combined Firepower: Clear the blockade at the end of the street. Use the combined firepower of both teams to destroy the enemy APC.
- Unlockable: Destroying the APC within 30 seconds unlocks the "Demolition Expert" Emblem.
- Exfil: Rendezvous with the extraction convoy.
