Sequence 01: Edward Kenway

Memory 01: Cape Bonavista

Sub-Missions & Objective: Traverse the island, locate the merchant Stede Bonnet, rescue him from British guards, and navigate the captain's vessel out of the bay.

  • Movement Tips: Avoid falling in deep water; climb trees to cross jungle gaps. Use high grass to stealth past soldiers.
  • Collectibles: 3 Chests (contain gold and rum) and 2 Animus Fragments located on the path towards the merchant's ship.

100% Sync Optional Objectives

  • Stay out of combat: Sneak through the jungle without initiating alert status.
  • Aerial assassination: Kill the final guard from a branch.
Top Item to Discover: Walpole's Outfit & Letter (Found on the Assassin's corpse near the waterfall; crucial key item).

Sequence 02: Havana

Memory 01: Lively Havana

Sub-Missions & Objective: Buy swords at the shop, tail Stede Bonnet to the local tavern, engage in the tavern brawl, and escape the patrol guards.

  • Tips: Counter enemies when they swing rather than spamming attacks. Use smoke bombs if surrounded.
  • Collectibles: 1 Shanty sheet (Rio Grande) on the rooftops, 1 Chest behind the weapon shop.

100% Sync Optional Objectives

  • Tackle pickpocket: Run and tackle the thief immediately instead of striking him down.
  • Escape with smoke: Drop a smoke bomb during the tavern escape sequence.
Top Item to Discover: Spanish Cutlasses (Buy these at the weapon shop to double your early combat damage).
Memory 02: And My Sugar?

Sub-Missions & Objective: Infiltrate the Spanish fort, retrieve Stede Bonnet's ledger, and return it safely.

  • Tips: Climb the exterior walls of the fort to avoid the front gate guards.
  • Collectibles: 1 Animus fragment suspended on the rope between the fort tower and the mast.

Sequence 03: The Jackdaw

Memory 01: Proper Defense

Sub-Missions & Objective: Steal ammunition from a guarded Spanish convoy, board your new brig, and test the cannons on dummy targets.

  • Naval Tips: Use broadside cannons when ships are aligned, and swivels to detonate weak spots.
  • Collectibles: 1 Message in a Bottle on the beach of Abaco Island.

100% Sync Optional Objectives

  • Use swivels: Sink 3 small gunboats using only swivel guns.
Top Item to Discover: The Jackdaw Ship (Your central hub and vessel for the rest of the game).

Sequence 04: Tulum

Memory 01: Overrun Ruins

Sub-Missions & Objective: Climb the Mayan temple, find the Assassins without alerting them, and defend the settlement against a Spanish ambush.

  • Stealth Tips: Hide in bushes, use whistle commands to lure guards one by one, and use sleep darts.
  • Collectibles: 1 Mayan Stone (Solve the rotating puzzle on top of the ruins).
Top Item to Discover: Mayan Stone (1/16) (Unlocks the bulletproof Mayan Armor later in the game).
