Essential Things to Do First

1. Synchronize All Viewpoints in Havana

Havana is the first major city you explore. Climb all viewpoints to reveal valuable chests, music sheets, and side contracts.

• Reveals hidden maps and side activities.
• Establishes fast travel nodes for future sequence backtracking.

2. Rush to Sequence 3 (Unlock the Jackdaw)

The open-world Caribbean doesn't fully unlock until you steal the Jackdaw in Sequence 3. Don't spend too much time exploring Havana on foot first.

• Unlocks free sailing and naval boarding.
• Unlocks Kenway's Cabin upgrades.

3. Capture Early Forts

Capture dry tortugas and Eleuthera Forts in the northern seas. They are low-difficulty and clear the fog of war across huge areas of the map.
