How Sea Shanties Work
Sea Shanties are floating sheets of paper that represent new songs your crew will sing while navigating the ocean. When Edward approaches a shanty, the wind will blow it away, requiring a parkour chase across rooftops, ropes, and trees to catch it before it disappears.
PRO TIP: If a shanty flies away, do not panic. Simply walk away 100 meters or fast-travel to a nearby viewpoint, and the shanty will immediately reset to its starting position.
Top Sea Shanties to Hunt First
- "Leave Her, Johnny" (Nassau): Located on a high wooden beam in the center of the town. Approach from the nearby church roof.
- "The Rio Grande" (Havana): Suspended between two clotheslines in the residential district. Use a swing pole to launch yourself.
- "Spanish Ladies" (Kingston): Found floating above the docks on a mast. Jump from the tavern roof to catch it seamlessly.
