Part 3: Desolate Canyon & Buddhist Pagoda Ruins

Step 1: Scaling the Windward Chasm & Claiming the Greatsword

Wall-run along the canyon precipice using the wooden support beams. When two Shield Guards block the narrow suspension bridge, switch to your new Ominous Greatsword found embedded in the guardian stone statue at the bridgehead. Press Heavy Attack to charge an overhead cleave that shatters their iron shields in a single strike.

MISSABLEScroll of the Crimson Phoenix: Before climbing the eastern pagoda ladder, drop down to the secluded lower mountain ledge behind the waterfall. Inside a carved Buddha alcove rests the Scroll of the Crimson Phoenix (Unlocks instantaneous mid-air dodge canceling). This ledge collapses after the boss fight concludes.

Step 2: Acoustic Pagoda Bell Resonance Puzzle

Upon reaching the grand courtyard of the Thousand Buddha Pagoda, the central sanctum door is sealed by three giant bronze chime bells marked with ancient musical glyphs:

• Strike the Low Pitch Bell (Left) with the heavy Ominous Greatsword.
• Immediately switch to Dual Blades and strike the High Pitch Bell (Right) twice.
• Fire a Spectral Arrow into the Harmonic Resonator Bell (Center Top).

The sustained acoustic chord will shatter the crystal demon seal on the sanctuary gates, revealing Heart Shard #3 (+5% Max HP).

Step 3: Boss Encounter — The Seven-Star Nun

Step into the serene, incense-veiled Pagoda Sanctum. The Seven-Star Nun, blindfolded and wielding twin stiletto rapiers connected by razor-sharp steel threads, drops from the ceiling rafters.

Boss Profile: Blistering high-speed duelist with rapid needle thrusts and thread tripwires.

• Phase 1: The Nun moves with ghost-like velocity, delivering 5-hit needle thrust sequences. Listen for her musical bell chime—that is the parry prompt! Tap parry rhythmically on each chime to break her posture.
• Thread Tripwire Web: When she retreats to the air and laces the arena floor with glowing red wire traps, jump and grapple to the ceiling chandeliers to avoid the floor explosion.
• Phase 2 (Shadow Clones): At 40% HP, she summons two shadow illusions. Switch immediately to the Ominous Greatsword and execute a 360-degree whirlwind sweep—the heavy shockwave dispels both clones instantly and staggers the real Nun.

Defeated, the Seven-Star Nun removes her blindfold, revealing herself as Soul's former martial arts senior sister. She reveals she was forced into servitude after The Order took the mountain monks hostage, and points Soul toward the secret Underground Alchemy Foundry where the clockwork heart was originally manufactured.
