After retrieving the Divine Dragon's Tears, Ashina Castle is engulfed in flames. Red Guard invaders populate the castle grounds, introducing final mini-bosses:
Travel through the kite portal at Ashina Castle Gate to reach the burning battlefield where Gyoubu was fought.
Combat Style: Beast-type encounter. Prioritize sprinting under his legs and dodging over deflecting fire attacks.
Rewards: Memory: Demon of Hatred, Lapis Lazuli x2.
Enter the secret passage in Ashina Reservoir (where the prologue ended) to face Genichiro and Isshin Ashina in a 4-phase final trial.
Phase 1 (Genichiro, Way of Tomoe): Ultra-aggressive close combat. Dodge behind his Mortal Draw to deliver free sword hits. Mikiri counter his thrust.
Phase 2 (Isshin Katana): Pure sword rhythm. Trade hits until deflected, parry his flurries, and Mikiri counter his thrusts. Sprint away when he sheathes his sword for Ashina Cross.
Phase 3 (Isshin Spear & Gun): Isshin pulls a massive halberd and pistol. Stand your ground, deflect gun shots and spear sweeps, and step forward into his telegraphed spear thrusts for Mikiri counters.
Phase 4 (Isshin Lightning): Adds lightning attacks. Execute Lightning Reversals (jump, take lightning hit, press R1 before landing) to stun Isshin and finish the game!
