Route: Grapple across the left rooftops past the gatehouse to land directly behind Kawarada for a stealth deathblow. Defeating him awards both Prayer Bead #1 and Gourd Seed #1!

Route: From Stairway idol, turn around and grapple up the cliff trees to the high rocky peak. Purchase Robert's Firecrackers from the merchant tent for 500 Sen.
Benefit: Blinds and startles beasts (Gyoubu Oniwa, Blazing Bull, Guardian Ape) for 3-5 seconds of free attacks.

Route: Kill Chained Ogre using Flame Vent / Firecrackers for Prayer Bead #2. Immediately grapple through the rectangular hole in the stone gatehouse building above to loot Gourd Seed #2 from the floor.

General Tenzen Yamauchi (Bead #3) & Crow's Bed Mob (Bead #4 + Seed #3)
Route: Drop into the courtyard past the ogre gatehouse to defeat General Tenzen Yamauchi (Prayer Bead #3). Return to the Crow's Bed Mob cliff merchant to buy Gourd Seed #3 (1,000 Sen) and Prayer Bead #4 (500 Sen).

Castle Gate Attic Chest (Bead #5), Ashina Esoteric Text, & Blazing Bull (Bead #6)
Route: Enter the building where Tengu stands, grapple into the rafters for Prayer Bead #5 in the attic chest. Complete Tengu's "Rats" hunt behind the gate to receive the Ashina Esoteric Text. Proceed through the gates to slay the Blazing Bull for Prayer Bead #6!

Route: From Estate Path, jump right into the alleys. Loot the Flame Barrel from the center of the bandit campfire pit. Slay the two bandits guarding the small garden shrine nearby to loot the Shinobi Axe.
Benefit: Flame Vent triggers burn stagger; Loaded Axe shatters enemy wooden shields in one blow.

Route: Swim upstream from Bamboo Thicket bridge, slash the hidden bamboo wall, wall-jump up the well, and defeat the purple ninja guarding the pagoda for the Mist Raven. Proceed across the bridge to Mikiri Counter Shinobi Hunter Enshin for Prayer Bead #7.

Juzou the Drunkard (Bead #8), Hidden Wall Chest (Bead #9) & Sakura Droplet
Route: Slay Juzou the Drunkard for Prayer Bead #8. Step into the Audience Chamber hallway and hug the warrior painting wall for Prayer Bead #9 in the secret chest. Defeat Lady Butterfly in the basement to claim the Sakura Droplet (gives +1 Resurrection Node when shown to Kuro/Divine Child!).
