Sekiro: Key Progression & Ending Items Guide

Exact Traversal Route:

1. Obtain Puppeteer Ninjutsu by defeating Folding Screen Monkeys in Senpou Temple.
2. Travel to the first Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo idol. Walk right down the hill to the kite mechanism guarded by a small straw-hat assassin ("Rat").
3. Backstab the Rat and trigger Puppeteer Ninjutsu. The controlled assassin will turn the wooden crank and permanently raise the giant kite into the air.
4. Proceed through the temple up past the giant tree in the monastery grounds. Grapple onto the raised kite in mid-air to launch Wolf across the mountain valley to the distant cliff ledge.
5. Drop down through the sunlit cavern shafts to the wooden beam jutting out above the Sunken Valley abyss. Look down to see the Great Serpent resting on the rocks below.
6. Jump off the plank and execute an aerial plunge deathblow on the Great Serpent to slice out the Fresh Serpent Viscera!

Exact Traversal Route:

1. From Bodhisattva Valley idol, turn around and drop down into the poisoned valley floor behind you.
2. Run past the Toxic Memorial Mob vendor into the dark winding cavern filled with poison geckos and wall centipedes.
3. Follow the cavern until you spot the giant body and coiled head of the Second Great Serpent blocking the entrance to a wooden shrine.
4. Drop down to the lower left ledge where a terrified monkey huddles on the rock. Sneak behind the monkey and perform a backstab with Puppeteer Ninjutsu.
5. The mind-controlled monkey will jump up and taunt the Great Serpent. While the serpent lunges to attack the monkey, quickly grapple onto the upper temple ledge, enter the shrine, and pick up the Dried Serpent Viscera from the altar!

Exact Quest Steps:

1. After defeating Great Shinobi Owl on Ashina Castle roof, choose to break the Iron Code and protect Lord Kuro.
2. Hide behind the paper screen partition in Kuro's Room and eavesdrop on Kuro until he murmurs about his duty.
3. Rest at the idol, head up the stairs, and speak to Emma about Kuro's words. Agree to find a way to save Kuro without killing him.
4. Rest, travel to Old Grave idol, and speak to Emma standing by the graves of Tomoe and Takeru.
5. Travel to Dilapidated Temple. Go around to the back exterior wall of the temple and eavesdrop through the hole on Emma and the Sculptor talking about "what must be done".
6. Confront Emma inside the temple and ask her about what you overheard. She will hand you the Father's Bell Charm.
7. Pray at the golden Buddha in the temple to enter the 2nd Hirata Estate memory. Slay Owl (Father) in the burning basement to claim the Aromatic Branch.

Exact Traversal Route: Ring the illusion bell on the altar table in Senpou Main Hall. Chase and assassinate the 4 Folding Screen Monkeys (Purple Seeing, Green Hearing, Orange Speaking, Invisible White) in the Hall of Illusion. Speak to the Divine Child in the Inner Sanctum to draw the crimson blade from its scabbard.

Route: Defeat the Corrupted Monk (Illusion) at Mibu Village to loot the Shelter Stone from the wedding altar cave. Defeat the Guardian Ape in Sunken Valley to harvest the radiant Lotus of the Palace from the waterfall grotto.

Exact Acquisition:

• Right Fragment: Bought from Pot Noble Harunaga in Hirata Estate lake for 7 Treasure Carp Scales.
• Dragon Fragment (Center): Bought from Dungeon Memorial Mob at Underground Waterway for 5,000 Sen.
• Left Fragment: Bought from Pot Noble Koremori in Fountainhead Palace for 12 Treasure Carp Scales.

Exact Traversal Route: Defeat Lady Butterfly in the burning basement of Hirata Estate. Collect the glowing Sakura Droplet. Bring it to Lord Kuro in Ashina Castle or the Divine Child in Inner Sanctum and select "Show Sakura Droplet" to receive a permanent extra resurrection charge!
